Seoul Garden @ One Utama

Went for dinner with my family and friends @ Seoul Garden for a surprising birthday celebration for my grandma.
First time trying the Korean Hotplate Steamboat and it was really superb!!! What really amazed me is the spice that they used to marinate the chicken, beef, lamb, sotong and their squid. Wide range of fresh food! And the sauces that compliment the bbq meat were fantastic! Wow…I’m hungry again…keke

The price is quite reasonable as they do have student price with RM21.88++ just for Monday to Friday and they too have 25% discount for senior citizen. So my grandma got this discount…hehe Hey! It’s buffer wei…where can u find such prices for buffer with fresh food provided?? XD

No doubt for the marinate beef…I truly fall in love on it… Guess how many pieces I ate huh? Haha! Drip it with the Korean chili sauce and eat it together with the fresh vege…wow…u can feel the spice of the meat, it still hot and the crunchiness of the vege… Yummy! I love it! Haha

Place your marinate beef/chicken/lamb on the green vege…

Then balut with your vege…and..and..put it into your mouth and bite…wuuu…juicy juicy yummy…haha

This is the Korean Chili sauce…It’s not spicy but come with little bit of sweetness…I like it n it taste good when u dip with the bbq meat…superb! =D

Beside of wide range of seafood, they too have ice kacang, ice-cream, refill beverage which all self-service…
Go for Korean food, definitely you got to taste their kimchi.. It’s the most famous dish which made up wif cabbage and some sauce which I’m not sure what it call…hehe

If you would like to have your lunch or dinner in Seoul Garden, do come early else you’ll end up lining up outside with hunger pangs…

Sushi Zanmai @ One Utama (New Wing)

It was my 22nd bday..We went to Sushi Zanmai today as my birthday makan which had just started its operations..
It is crowded but we decided to wait for the seat. No regret of trying this Sushi Zanmai, friendly speaking, it taste better and kinda cheaper than either Sushi King or Genki Sushi. The seafood are fresh and the rice is soft to eat. Unlike some other places, the sushi rice are actually make by machine. In Sushi Zanmai, all the sushi are hand make from the chef and its really really fresh.

There are three of us ordered Unadon, roasted eel on rice.The Unagi tasted fantastic! It’s not too sweet or tasteless to be eaten, one word! Ngam Ngam Ho! Haha! And this Unadon cost Rm15.80 (S)

We had Yakiniku Don, grilled beef on riceThe beef is soft and its easy to bite unlike those grilled beef which had over cook and it hardly bite. This cost only Rm10.80

We had Ebidon, deep fried prawn with egg on riceIt was just nice, and the eggs are mix together with the prawn, the main thing is…the prawn is fresh. This Ebidon had just cost RM8.80 (S)

Sakura Chirashi Don, assorted seafood on sushi rice...It not only looks beautiful on the menu, but it really looks nice on real. The salmon, the prawn are taste fresh and the rice are soft. It’s a good try! And it cost RM10.80 (S) Reasonable price?

Chicken Katsu Curry, chicken cutlet & rice with curry sauce..For me, this Chicken Katsu Curry is a little bit taste like the Maggie Mee soup that u always cook at home, nothing special, but the chicken cutlet is crispy. This plate cost RM10.80 (S)

This is Kakiage Don, fired prawn and vegetable on rice...

The prawn is really big and it’s crispy when u bitten on it. It cost RM8.80 (S)

This is Soft Shelf Crab Maki, fried soft shelf crab...

It’s my favorite in Japanese cuisine, the shelf crab is crispy and tasty. Whenever I went for Japanese restaurant, I will never forget to have this Soft Shelf Crab. Guest what? The price is Rm6 per plate. I think it sounds reasonable for me…hehe

Wasabillar Roll, salmon & crispy chips sushi roll topped with wasabi flying-fish roe...This Wasabillar Roll is a caterpillar design, the green color on top is the wasabi flying-fish roe which represent the caterpillar hair, and the two big red fish roe is the caterpillar eyes. Its cute! And taste gud! Keke

This is Chawanmushi, steamed egg custard...Don’t just look at the surface of the egg, it actually contain mushrooms, prawns, chicken slices, and crab meat. And do not hesitate the prawns, it is really fresh and it’s big! I don’t think you can find such a great ingredient in Sushi King rite? Not to say I’m giving the unfair judgment la..I was Sushi King fans before trying Sushi Zanmai.. hehe I’m just giving the comment according what I’d tried.. And it’s only cost RM 4.80. We actually ordered 6 of Chawanmushi, who ask us like egg so much?? Haha!

Inari, sweet beancurd...Kind of tofu skin, taste sweet, and it contain sushi rice. Same..It’s RM1.60 too.

This is Chuka Lidako, seasoned baby octopus...

This seasoned baby octopus with a little bit of sesame on top makes the overall looks beautiful. The color are very attractive to me, and the octopus are crispy once u bite it, it is fresh, and it doesn’t smell weird for those some of the octopus are not really freshy, it will have some certain weird smell. But this don’t have. This plate of seasoned baby octopus had cost me RM6 which similar with Sushi King actually.

Kanpyo Maki, dry gourd... The gry gourd kinda crispy, the taste are not too salty and it just nice..This cost RM1.60 for 6pcs..I think it’s quite “dai” lo…

We ordered 2 set of Tamago, Omelette, and it just cost RM1.60 per set..We ordered one California, avocado, crabmeat & omelette with smelt roe with RM4.80

Sushi King will cost RM5.80...so here cheaper rite? Shh...

Our last call is Aso (12 pcs + 1 roll)Aso which consist of tuna, yellow-tail, salmon, eel, prawn, boiled scallop, crabmeat, octopus, cuttlefish, omelette, beancurb, shrimp roe, cucumber roll. This Aso is RM23.80

While writing the prices, I started to realize that most of the price will come with a number eight behind. Likes RM23.80, RM15.80, RM10.80… I suspect the owner of Sushi Zanmai should be a Chinese men who must be believe that the number eight will giving him luck in his business…Haha! Anyway just a thought!

Total bill was RM241++. I can't really remember the actual price. There are 9 of us, and each person with only about RM26 can have such satisfying meal, it's worth! Their service was good, the waitress are polite and patient especially while taking order.

First class of the Semester

Just came back from my first class of the semester..everyone did attend the class except there’s few still lepak in their homespace…

The lec for this subject is an Indian man and he spoke like…erm…mixture…awhile Eng, awhile Malay, and some Hokkien too… Communication law…sounds bore rite? Yeah Indeed…

And I think uni/college student will always bring their treasure into class…such as sweetz & comicz

It’s not just a few sweetz but it’s a BIG PACK! Haha~

And that’s the end of our first class…looking forward the 2^nd class on Wednesday…hehe

Say GoodBye to my Holiday~

Semester end…Monday…tmr gonna be my first day of the 2^nd last semester. Cool…time flies…Had been sending for Industry Training for 3.5mth, and went back to hometown for 3weeks, here comes an end of my precious holiday.Time table is fantastic just too bad that there’s 8am class on Monday, else it’s gonna be super duper perfect! Haha! This semester gonna have 4 subjects, easy goin? Yeah…take it easy grl… And it’s cool cos Tuesday and Saturday there’s no class for me, Wednesday only have 2 hours class in the morning at 10am. But too bad that Firday class end at 7pm…gonna suffer hunger ghost again…keke

Missing my classmate…I’m gonna see you soon…Cheers ^^ Gd nite everyone…

JB Tour

I was being in Johor Bahru (JB) for 3 days 2 nites before ending my semester holiday. I was brought by frenz to a place which called Danga Bay, it’s a vision city of the South. I can see the Singapore Island which just took 10mins drive over there through a bridge. A seaside view kinda like Gurney Plaza in Penang whereby people can hanging around at the side.

It was so happen that there has the 4 role bicycle for rent. And I got the opportunity to ride on it. It cost RM35 per bicycle for about 45mins drive. Cool men…It’s great! It’s my first time! Haha! We cycle along the Danga Bay from beginning to the end. It was windy and syock! It’s gonna have a big crowd over here especially during weekend family day and public holiday whereby the couple will hanging around here.U’r not only can ride on the bicycle, there’s du du train for bringing people to go along the place too.

There is also many kind of Malay House as restaurant and also for tourist to have photo sessions. There is a big empty space which full of grass. I guess it’s for picnic? Crap! Keke! And we actually sitting, lying, standing, and walking on the grass to ss (syock sendiri). Interesting!

And that was my first nite in JB actually; I went to City Square for the second nite. It’s considered as the most popular shopping complex in JB and it is a busy area. City Square located opposite the Kastam, where the check point from JB to Spore that’s why I said it’s busy area. Even though late at nite time, you can see there are still many cars drive through the road side. I think it gonna be terrible jam during working hour. Kesian betul…

Guest what? I never know that right now still have this old type of pondok telefon. Haha!

It just too bad that I din hav a passport, else I will lepak there too…hmm…must been there once in my life! hehe

古晋一日游

嘿嘿。。。说我是从古晋来的都难以自信啊。。在古晋住十多年却不曾坐舢板过对面港，笑死人啊~！感谢一个古晋的朋友带我去见识见识。。相信吗？才三十仙噢！现在的时代还有三毛钱的舢板坐噢，真是替那些船夫伯伯可怜啊~

现在的广告市场连老伯伯的舢板都不放过，还有DIGI和HOTLINK的广告包装，满满噢！黄黄和红红的！别小看这些舢板勒，如果没有它，那些人就不能过对面港咯！当然，古晋并不是那么落后的地方，不是没有舢板就过不到对面港，有车的人也是可以的，古晋真的有highway的。哈哈！我们不是住树上的，我们有房子，有马路，有汽车，有很多建筑物的。我们跟人住，不是跟星星和猴子住。不曾来过砂捞越的人，都以为砂捞越是森林，很多树很多猴子，可悲啊！ 汗！

古晋有很多西马都吃不到的东西噢！Kolo Mee啦（干捞面）或者是kampua（干盘），它的特别就是它的面是红色的，是用猪油煮的，所以红红咯，叉烧嘛。。。还有Sarawak Laksa，跟西马的laksa不同，西马的laksa有点带curry料的，所以不同。太多太多了，去一趟总好比听别人说吧，有机会一定要去哦！

来来来，我带你们去警察博物院Fort Margherita，那是以前和日本打战的城堡噢，里面只有两个坚牢，坚牢的范围很小罢了。那是1880年建立的，超有历史性的呐。

大炮车，你知道军人在那里点火吗？嘿！拿镜头的朋友，小心我放“炸弹”噢！哈

当天天气超热，简直把我越晒越健康，加上老远的路，我们走路耶！不过很好玩噢！嘻嘻
